A Small Blessing

May this bright little planet we call Earth (everything we know) be blessed by our modest weekly gatherings, our respectfully folded hands, by offerings of flowers and incense.
May it be blessed by our deliberate attention, our open hearts and senses, by our silence and our speech.
May the mountain lions be blessed and the mountains themselves, the redwood trees, and the gray whales!
Blessings on tadpoles, microbes and all small things!
Blessings on granite boulders and dragonflies, on dire wolves, ravens and jellyfish!
Sharing origin, sharing destiny, may we all together realize the Buddha way!
